Review by hotel critic
Tucked away in Pilipets, Wood House offers a cozy retreat with a touch of Carpathian charm. The room service is impeccable, and the staff goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. The ski-to-door access is perfect for winter sports enthusiasts, and the ski equipment hire makes hitting the slopes a breeze. As a freelance journalist who values authentic experiences, I appreciated the opportunity to explore the surrounding area with the help of the friendly hotel staff, whether it was skiing down the slopes or cycling through the picturesque landscapes. The continental or à la carte breakfast options were a delightful start to the day, providing fuel for our adventures. The complimentary WiFi allowed me to stay connected while immersing myself in the tranquil mountain setting. Wood House's attention to detail, from the comfortable beds to the welcoming atmosphere, made our stay truly memorable. Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or an active outdoor retreat, Wood House is the ideal destination for those seeking a blend of comfort and adventure.
